Some of these people have only had a shop for a couple of months and have a huge amount of views and sales. Does it have to do with advertising on Etsy or is it more of an outside source?

I've started an Etsy shop for two months and here's how I get some views:



1. Twitter! I follow lots of people and once in a while when I post my stuff on there, I get about 10-15 views within the first five minutes. It's a great tool if you want people to see your stuff.



2. Relisting items. I just started doing this for a week and I've noticed a big increase in my views/hearts. A lot of Etsians swear by this and say it gets them a lot of sales. I haven't done it long enough but so far so good.



3. Etsy Forums. If you're looking for a lot of views, post in here and post often. The promotions section in the Etsy forum is a great place to make friends with Etsy sellers as well as promoting your shop.



4. Facebook fan/business page. Personally this is one of my favorite things to have. Start a facebook fan page, invite all your friends and tell them to invite their friends. Update your fanpage often and promote your shop there. You will see great results if you spend time on this! I've already gotten two custom orders and I've only been on there for about a week. Plus it's fun to connect with all of your friends and make new ones.
