In France the biggest and most famous is in Paris, Le Marché au Puces.

In Madrid the biggest is El Rastro.

Compared to the american garage sales these centuries old markets are living museums, sometimes people buy a vase for 50 euros and it turns out to be a japanese XVI century Ming worth 10.000 euros...

England has them

the Brits call them "Car Boot Sales" because they sell their old gear from the trunk "boot" of their car.

I currently live in Germany, and they do have them in Germany (they're called Floh Markets here). I know they also have them in the Czech Republic. So, I don't see why it wouldn't extend to the countries you listed above. If I were you, I'd translate "Flea market" and then ask the locals who would point you in the right direction. Have fun!

I know there are in France, as people who had articles in some of my magazines go there regularly to buy things to sell in the states.
