Do they sell Janome sewing machines in K-mart? (Brisbane, Australia)?

I'm from brisbane and am looking to buy a janome sewing machine (recommended by a landslide of people), and was just wondering if any of the models are available in Kmart.. I'm considering the one that can work on denim which probably costs around 200 bucks
reason why I want to ask if Kmart has it is because I've got some vouchers to use

I'm in the US, so can't help directly -- but Kenmore is made by Janome for Sears currently.

Nope! Kmart gets non branded machines in occasionally, but it is something that usually happens once a year, usually around July. Target had a Brother brand machine on special a couple of months ago, and I think Kmarts last branded machine was a Singer.

If you want a Janome you have to go to either a specialist machine shop, or lincraft or Spotlight. And the Denim Janome is a lot more than $200 AUD! The Toyota denim machine is closer in price to that but is still above the $300 mark- I paid $175 for mine during spotlights fifty percent VIP discount sale

I was in sewing machine sales for over 25 years and have experience with many brands. I personally would only own a Janome (and do own a Janome), and I would only purchase from a local dealer willing to provide lessons with purchase and also follow up support. Take their advice, and don't hesitate to look for a newly traded model if you trust your dealer. I used to notice many women traded up as soon as a new machine was out, even though their machines were perfect. The sewing machines I would be least likely to buy, as far as major brands go, would be Singer or Brother. wishing you the best!

No! Not at K-Mart. Though they did have a sale back in May, but don't carry this item as a common stock item. But, Sears carries a few styles of Janome machines, and they might accept those vouchers since they are form Sears parent company. K-Mart carries Brothers, Kenmore, & Singer sewing machines. I bought one of the lower priced Kenmores, and I have no problem with it sewing denim. Good Luck down under.

Any sewing machine can sew denim. You just need the right needle. Singer and Brothers are bottom brands and I wouldn't recommend getting them. Janome is a good brand.
