There are a couple ways. Either way, you'll want fake blood from a costume store or magic shop (if you have one close by). The first way is to just dip your hands in the blood and flick your wrist at whatever surface you want splatter on. For a finer spatter, you get a boba straw (really fat) and dip one end in the blood (you'll want quite a bit in there, but you wont want to get it in your mouth) and blow through the straw so the spatter blows out. If you want the blood to look kinda chunky, like its old or has flesh in it, you can chew up some beef jerky and mix it into the blood.

Okay, get your red paint and your guitar. Dip the brush into the paint (not too much paint, but a medium amount). Hold the brush in your right (or left, whatever) hand, and hold your other wrist about a foot above the guitar. Then, tap the handle of the paint brush against your wrist, letting the red paint fall in splatters onto the guitar. Keep tapping until most of the paint is on the guitar, then repeat. You may want to do the first couple taps onto a blank piece of paper or something, because they can sometimes be a bit big. Also, don't be afraid to tap hard...it works better that way! Make sure you test this method first, to make sure it is what you're looking for. Also, if you do paint your guitar this way, it's quite messy sometimes, so make sure you're not wearing any irreplaceable clothes. Good luck!

You can buy fake blood at a well-stocked costume shop. Sometimes it's called "theatrical blood". It is available in four ounce bottles and quart bottles, and you can also buy a colored powder you stir into thinned karo syrup. When you have all you think you need - and you will need less than you think - take and dip a paint brush in it and splatter it on whatever you want to look bloody. Do remember that most such mixtures can permanently stain clothing and upholstery. You may want to be very careful what you splatter that stuff on...

You can also use just a big paint brush and dip it in the paint (or fake blood, or corn syrup mixed with food coloring) and run your thumb over it away from the canvas (wall) to where it sort of sprays on there.
