I have a HPI firestorm and its fine except it won't run without the glow starter on?

Is this a fuel problem?(bearing in mind my fuel is quite old)
A glow plug problem?
Compression problem?

Or all? Haha please help, I can drive it with the glow starter on and it's amazing but no matter how hot it is if I take out the glow starter it cuts?

Old fuel will have a lower alcohol and nitromethane content than fresh fuel.

Glow plugs use a platinum catalyst which only remains glowing hot in the absence of an electric current if there's sufficient alcohol in the fuel. Low nitromethane means you'd need a glow plug of a "hotter" rating than normal (hot plugs are used with low/no nitromethane fuels, cool plugs are used with high nitro fuels).

Your fuel is old: try fresh fuel.

Definitely go with new fuel and a new glow plug.

Make sure glow plug is on tight and might want to change it
