I have a friend who just recently moved to another state. I want to send her cute and funny cards and I'm looking for some ideas of things I can put inside the cards. I'm looking for something that is small enough to fit in a standard greeting card and light enough that I can still just put a stamp on it and send it out. Thanks!

You know what your friend likes? Try to find some stickers that has your friend's favorite thing on it, I guess your friend would like it. As for cute things, I can't think of any but, may be you can draw some cute things on it :P Anyways, that's my answer.

Confetti is a standard for this. It can be cute or it can be all of the chads gathered from all of the paper punches in an office or school.

Make fake money and then do origami folds with it. The fakes can have pictures of you or her or places she will recall rather than government feces. Some make of point of *not* using exactly the same size at authentic currency, to clarify that there's illegal intent.

Use Photo-Shop or similar to create amusing snapshots. i.e. yourself with a gorilla and scrawl on the print "Wish you were here instead".

Take pictures of around town and send them to her.

A picture of yourself.

A picture of a hot guy you find in a magazine.

A piece of dental floss and tell her it wrap to around her finger to remind her of you and that your always with her.

Walmart you can make a metal tag and put what ever you wish on it. There for luggage bags or pets names. But have fun with it with a note to her.

A pressed flower.

Confetti

A cool stamp so she can mail you back a card and she can do the same back to you. The post office has really cool ones.

Draw a picture, bookmark, refrigerator magnet, photograph, decorate a playing card (add glitter & stickers on the queen of hearts, joker, or ace of hearts), play tic-tac-oe on a separate piece of paper & send back n forth, make your own puzzles (jigsaw puzzle from a photograph or old greeting card, word search, unscramble words, etc), couple sticks of gum, start of a folded gum wrapper chain, pkg of candy such as gum or pop rocks etc., recipe card with your favorite recipe & set a day that you each make it on the same day, penny, nickle, dime & quarter with the year she was born, postage stamps or SASE, pressed flower, handmade business card, return address labels for her sending letters back to you, homemade stationery.
