Why does my Rainbow Loom fishtail bracelet seem so loose while other people can make it so much tighter. All of my bracelets seem loose not sure why.

The loose fit on your rainbow loom bracelets is possibly because measurements of wrist circumference plus extra give (fit) amount is too long. The bracelets offered for sale are standardly available in three fit lengths; snug, comfort, or loose. The average length amount to add to the actual wrist measurement is 1/2 inch, and will give the wearer a comfort fit. Consider the extra fit length you have been incorporating in your bracelets and adjust accordingly.
Also saw a seller on Etsy who listed the various sizes (bracelet lengths, not wrist length) she is making for her rainbow loom bracelets.
XSmall: 4-5 inches long (average child's size)
Small: 5-6 inches long
Medium: 7 inches long (average women's size)
Large: 8-9 inches long (average men's size)
XLarge: 9-10 inches long
ADD'L BIT - The included video is interesting as it shows how to create a rainbow loom bracelet without the loom. Good luck with your crafting and creating.

You will need around 30 to 35 bracelet looms if you are an adult. Kids would only need about 3-4 looms less. Optional: two pencils it STRAIGHT sticks. You can also use your hands.
Take one bracelet loom, and put it over one finger(usually index finger). Take it and twist it, then put it on the middle finger. Put another loom on both fingers, no twisting. Take another and put it over no twisting. Then, you will have to take the bottem one edge and stretch it over your finger and drop it in the top middle. Do that to the other side and keep adding looms and stretching over until you are out. You will have two looms left on your stick or whatever, so put the bottem one and stretch it over. The last one goes to the S clip. Stretch the loom, and it will look perfect!
Hope this helps you guys!

Sometimes my fishtail bracelets tickle me. I usually just put on of my fingers between my bracelet and my wrist and stretch it. It is probably not cutting your circulation. I made a fishtail bracelet today and you can see the fishtail print on my wrist but it does not feel too tight. My other bracelets are not this small but this one is because I was making it in purple, blue, and red and I ran out of purple rubber bands!

I love making fishtail bracelets. They are probably loose because you may have added too many rubber bands and they also stretch because they are rubber bands after all, so they got too big. I have one bracelet that is too big for me. I'll tell you why it's so big. My friend made me the bracelet. She told me to close my eyes and she put it in my hand and I put it on. It was stretchy but not big. One day, I took it off when I was with her and she was looking at it and she put 2 fingers on each side and stretched it really big and put it on my arm. That made it even bigger. Maybe that is the reason your bracelets are too big!

Maybe you should try a 4-pattern fishtail, instead of the regular 3- pattern. :)
