To purchase the same vintage-themed paper kit as in that photo, Swirlydoos.com is your best source for all the supplies you could need to achieve that same overall look as that link. You may be able to purchase the paper individually instead of as a kit if you really liked the paper in itself.

The paper used on that layout you included was from Basic Grey's Capella line, and the link to Basic Grey's entire Capella line, where you can pick and choose the products you like best is here: http://www.basicgrey.com/scrapbook/shop/collections/show/current/cappella

There are many online stores that sell quality scrapbook supplies aside from this particular brand. I would suggest using Oriental Trading for purchasing cheap but quality supplies. A link to there scrapbook section is here: http://www.orientaltrading.com/craft-and-hobby-supplies/hobbies/scrapbooking-a1-388782-2-0.fltr

If you would like to try to buy a coordinating scrapbook kit (it includes any supplies/paper/embellishments you need for a few projects- the colors and styles usually vary monthly), I can suggest a few of my own favorites as well:

scarletlime.com/ (my current favorite!!)

swirlydoos.com/news.php

scrapologie.com/monthlykits.php

mycreativescrapbook.com/

paperposies.com/index.htm

scrapbookcircle.com/

snobbywalrus.com/monthly-kit.html

mycreativescrapbook.com/kits.htm

myscrapbooknook.org/club.shtml

Also, here is a list of a few deal-of-the-day websites (they offer a new scrapbook STEAL everyday!) Here are some links that I have found:

peachycheap.com/

bazzzinga.com/

craftysteals.com/

cropchocolate.com/

flowerstoflourishes.com/

scrapbooksteals.com/

And lastly, here are some links to other scrapbook stores that are priced reasonably:

scrapbuck.com/

bluemoonscrapbooking.com/

lemonpoppyshoppe.com/

As far as the technique used on that layout you linked, you could consider following some scrapbooking blogs for some future inspiration. I have a big list of crafty inspiration blogs listed on my own blog's sidebar at:

ScrappyGoLucky.blogspot.com

Hope this helps!

I buy most of mine online because I don't have much choice. We don't have a scrapbooking store here. Only one aisle at WalMart. With the price of gas, driving back and forth to the closest store would cost more than the shipping charges I pay, and the prices on the internet are better than the stores, if you shop around and use coupons and discounts. A lot of the time I'll order when shipping is free.
