Is the HPI Savage XSS or Revo 3.3 worth it?

I'm intrested in getting a R/C nitro truck and have to decide between the Revo 3.3 and Savage X SS. I prefer the Savage X SS more as i'm not into racing. For those of you who have either of these 2 trucks, what's your view on them? Hows the acceleration, braking and overall control of the vehicle. Is there anything else (im sure) that can help me make a decision.

The money you're going to spent on either plus hop ups, get yourself a 1/5th scale. Lots of fun and cheaper to run. I don't even touch any of my electrics or my nitros anymore.

The Revo 3.3 is advanced in mechanical technology and innovation. The Revo 3.3 has a TRX 3.3 Racing Engine that can speed up the Revo 3.3 up to 45+ MPH. The Revo 3.3 features an E-Z start system that has two jobs, which are igniting the fuel and air in the engine and cranking the crankcase to start it up. The Savage X SS is a kit, which means you have to buy the servos, radio system, and more stuff for it and assemble it all [I'd prefer the Savage X K4.6, bigger engine]. The Revo 3.3 has state-of-the-art transmission with OptiDrive(R), a device that electronically controls the transmission. The Revo 3.3 is RTR [Ready-to-Race or Ready to Run] which means you can use it once you opened the box. Trust me, I have both and I'm more happier with the Revo 3.3. Get it and you'll be satisfied.

I've worked as a pitman for both trucks, but I really couldn't tell you any difference. A good place to look for an opinion would be an RC forum, like rctech.net. There are a lot of guys on those sites and they could tell you just about anything you want to know on these cars.
