See, I sew things that are like stuffed animals, only they aren't all animals. Some of my favorites were a cloud or a cactus. Does anyone have an idea of something to sew? Please help and thank you all in advance! No mean or pointless answers, please.

A hot-air balloon. When I was little, I used to have one that someone made for me. It had ribbon hanging from under it, that was attached to a basket. It was decorated with lace and satin ribbon. It was actually very elegant. If I remember correctly, it was made from 6 panels that were sewn together. All made from fabric and then stuffed. The panels started out at the top of the balloon, came to a point, then as they went down, they were bigger to form the balloon and then got smaller again to form the shaft. Good luck.

How about things that can serve multiple purposes, like place settings? A plate, fork, knife, spoon, etc. Not only can small children to learn to identify with a safe version of the object, but can use them in play.
