I would like to rip some pages out of a magazine and I don't want them to tear or damage. I was wondering if there was an easy way of cutting the spine out or something so that the side would not be jagged either. I have never tried to get a perfect page out of a magazine so thats why I am asking. Thanks!

Two methods that work well.

Get a ruler with a firm, fairly sharp straight-edge (I used to use a wooden ruler with a metal strip stuck in the edge). Put the magazine on a firm surface open to the page you want to cut out, place the edge of the ruler firmly against the page where you want to tear it (on the 'spine' side of your cutting line), then pull the page corner down and toward the ruler to rip it. You get an edge that's a little fuzzy but basically straight and neat.

If you need a cleaner, smoother edge, you'll need an Xacto knife and a metal, metal-edged or acrylic ruler. Put the magazine on several layers of newspaper to protect your work surface. Place the ruler along the line you want to cut, on the side AWAY from your cutting hand, then firmly run the point of the knife against the edge of the ruler (you will likely remove more than one page unless you press very lightly). The knife is very sharp and you can easily cut yourself , so pay close attention and be very careful.

Good luck!

Carefully! Open the magazine all the way so you can see the page you want to pull out on your right - completely so that the spine cracks. At that point, you should be able peel off the page you want carefully w/o tearing it. Do the same with every page you want to remove.

nicely you need to use a right this moment edged razor or exacto knife. i'm not sure the way you may desire to draw close them on your room with out unfavourable the drywall, tape or tacks or nails could positioned holes in the drywall. warm glue could harm the photos.
