At my new mothers club women have been asking me what to do with their extra formula canisters and baby food jars. I nurse myself so I don't have allot of canisters handy to get ideas with. I just wanted to know what are some green ways to reuse these canisters.

You can make them into candles

Storage containers or gift boxes if you cover them in patterned paper and maybe add a ribbon.

Sweety jars

i don't know if it helps but hope so....=]

I used them a couple of different ways for crafts when I taught preschool. Put holiday stickers around the jar, tie a ribbon around the threads, and put a colorful candle in it. Snowglobes are fun, too. Hot glue a plastic figure to the inside of the lid. Fill the jar with water and glitter. Hot glue the lid to the jar and there ya go. Another idea is sand art, colored sand layered in the jar. Have fun!

You can make a snow globe out of an empty glass baby food jar. Fill the jar with baby oil and a little water, add a teaspoon of glitter, hot glue a figurine to the lid, and hot glue the lid shut.

cover them with fabric, Christmas wrap, gift wrap or cute napkins then fill them with homemade baked goodies (like cookies or homemade candy) for Christmas gifts.

hold Q-tips in the bathroom

you can make your own spice rack
