can you please give me some tips on what kind of spray paint to use (and what brand would you recommend) and what should i make the stencils out of.
im going to be stenciling black shirts, so i want to use white paint.

i cant find any freezer paper where i live, so i cant use that for stencils, and i havent been able to find white textile paint either.

thanks

Make sure your item is clean. Cotton works best. If it is brand new, wash and dry it to remove sizing and finishes. Press it flat with a hot iron. Put newspaper inside.

Cut your stencil. A manila envelope, sheet of plastic, cardboard, something sturdier than paper. You can cut it out with scissors, box cutter or exacto knife.

Tape the stencil flat to your shirt. Rather than spray paint, I would suggest Delta Ceramcoat with a foam or stencil brush. Dab it into the stencil. Carefully remove the stencil and let dry for 3 days. Iron the shirt after this, inside out with newspaper between the shirt and the ironing board. This "sets" the paint.

I usually use contact paper on card stock to make stencils for painting. I think it's a little more durable, but it's still easy to cut through to make the stencils.

Most pre-mixed acrylic paints will work on fabrics(as long as they're thick enough to not bleed through the fabric), white on black might take two coats.

I usually end up doing fabric stenciling with liquid paint and a foam brush, so I'm can't help with the spray painting stuff.

I made some interior the final 2 years. All you ought to do is make your photograph the style you prefer it to look on the blouse & print it on t-blouse flow paper that would nicely be chanced on on the craft shop. no ought to seek for suggestion from a internet site, in basic terms bypass to the craft shop interior the t-blouse aisle, get your self a t-blouse (white is in basic terms right) & the flow paper ought to be authentic there. examine the instructions (exceedingly worry-free to stick to) and do the project. earlier getting began, verify to envision & heavily stick to the instructions that incorporate the flow paper. you ought to first device wash & dry the blouse, do not use fabrics softener (is says this interior the instructions with the paper). Create the image you prefer to print then once you get waiting to print, (warning!! ) ***be certain which you do set your printing residences paper type to iron on flow...or t-blouse flow which ever the paper type listed says.*** it is going to then print your photograph opposite (as though finding interior the reflect) on the paper then you quite intently iron it on your blouse and it will look such as you notice it printed wide-spread on paper (not reversed). I made t-shirts for my mothers and fathers for Christmas displaying a genealogy with photos that began with a photograph of them from their fiftieth anniversary party, then photos of each human beings 6 infants, then I had a line going from each of my siblings (people who're mothers and fathers) to the subsequent technology (grand youngsters) then the subsequent technology (large grand youngsters). My mothers and fathers like it!!! have exciting jointly with your project!
